He is survived by: his children, Beth Smith (Charles) and F. John Cooper (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Chase Smith (Lauren), Daniel Smith (Maggie), Phillip Cooper, Bradley Cooper and Brennan Cooper. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Christ Lutheran Church (4333 Cleveland Ave, Stevensville, MI 49127). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church or Seven Star Sanctuary & Rescue.
