He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Foster and Eleanor Foster (Hubbard); and his brothers, Richard Foster, David Foster and Stephen Foster.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hemerling; his children, Julie Dawes (Scott) of Battle Creek, Catherine Cronkrite (Brian) of St. Joseph and Michael Foster (Kathy) of Cleveland, OH; his grandson Jeremiah Roberts; and his sister Judy Beaman (Art).
