She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Pitlik and Gertrude Pitlik (Eichman); her husband Allan; and her daughter Kathy Maxson. She is survived by: her sister Dolores Mae; her daughter Beth Wallace; her granddaughters, Holly Harbin (Rob) and April Carson (Zach); and her great grandchildren, Gloria Harbin, Wyatt, Aubrey and Courtney Carson.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Starks & Menchinger Chapel (2650 Niles Rd, St Joseph, MI 49085). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Corewell Health Hospice or Bears in the Air, providing teddy bears to children in area hospitals.
