It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jon Swoap (Saint Joseph, Michigan), who passed away on December 18, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Swoap and Mary Jane Henchel (Monger); his wife Sharon Kay Swoap; and his daughter Bonnie Swoap-Benton. He is survived by: his children, Jon Swoap and Kellie Tilly (Steven); his grandchildren, Khrystal Weaver (Brad), Zachary Garrett, Mitchel Garrett, Chynah Blankenship (David), Hillary O'Sullivan (Patrick), Ally Benton and Gage Benton; his great grandchildren, Kallie Weaver, Baylor Weaver, Ben Blankenship and Bonnie Blankenship; his brother Anthony "Tony" Swoap (Bonnie); and his nephews, Tony and Gary.
