Though Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joseph leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Young and Phyllis Young; and his siblings, Leonard and Karilyn "Sue" Lick. He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his sisters, Sharon Young (Kathryn Kirkpatrick) of Apache Junction, AZ and Jackie Young-Hartman (Jim) of Lawrence, MI; and his sister-in-law Sondra Young of Irons, MI.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Starks & Menchinger Chapel (2650 Niles Rd, St Joseph, MI 49085). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church (4071 Naomi Rd, Sodus, MI 49126).
