In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Kathleen leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Kathleen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Stancik and Kathryn Stancik Jr. (Carroll). She is survived by: her husband Jim Way; her children, Chris Nowicki (Edith) and Kelly Nowicki (James Shaw); her stepsons, Brian Way (Kate Stacey), Jeff Way (Nikki) and Matt Way; and her brother John Stancik III (Kathie). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Starks & Menchinger Chapel (2650 Niles Rd, St Joseph, MI 49085). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service (2650 Niles Rd, St Joseph, MI 49085).
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or National Coalition for Homeless Veterans.
