He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence George Graefen and Margaret McMaster Graefen; and his sister Janice Bjork-Harrison. He is survived by: his wife Suzann Graefen (Welsby); his children, Paul Graefen (Susie), Margaret Graefen Norman and Leslie Van Houten (Scott); and his grandchildren, Grace Graefen, Tyler Stone, Dillon Norman, Scarlett Norman, Sawyer Norman, Sydney Van Houten and Bryce Van Houten.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and at 7:00 PM at the Starks & Menchinger Chapel (2650 Niles Rd, St Joseph, MI 49085). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church - Saint Joseph (220 Church St, St Joseph, MI 49085).
In Lieu of flowers, family requests donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Toys for Tots.
