It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Merla Mihalik (Saint Joseph, Michigan), who passed away at the age of 90, on November 30, 2025. In the sacred silence of farewell, Merla is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Merla's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Delbert Sinn and William Mihalik; her brother John Bird; and her parents, Meryl Bird and Eunice Bird.
She is survived by: her daughter Libby Globensky (Mark); and her sister Alice Coe (Michael). She is also survived by five nieces and nephews; three grandnephews; and two grandnieces.
