He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Simmelink and Maude Simmelink (Dekker); and his former wife Martheen F. Simmelink. He is survived by: his children, Chris Simmelink (Holly), Jonathan Simmelink (Jasmine) and Bethany Henderson; his grandchildren, Samanatha Simmelink, Brittney Simmelink, Cortney Pellegrin, Jeremy Pellegrin and James Henderson III; his wife Bonnie Simmelink; his stepsons, Todd Tiefenbach (Deborah) and Scott Tiefenbach (Sarah); and his stepgrandchildren, Elizabeth, Maxwell and Kathleen.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Raymond's name can be made to Grace Lutheran Church.
