Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sylvia Jean Lieberg of Saint Joseph, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 82, on May 16, 2025. She was predeceased by: her mother Freda Taylor (Jonas); her grandparents, Adam and Frieda Jonas; her mother Frieda; and her brother Robert Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Tanya Sobaski (Mike) and Kirk Lieberg (Diane); her grandchildren, Laura Trail (Keegan), Andrew Peters (Tara), Will, Mike Sobaski, Kelsey Leemaster (Jordan) and Cameron Krieger; her brother Ronald Taylor; her stepsister Christine Taylor; and her nieces and nephews, Gretchen Peek (Cory), Brianne Wilkinson (Bryan), Brian Lieberg (Christina Frank) and Chase Caldwell (Kaylin). She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Starks & Menchinger Chapel (2650 Niles Rd, St Joseph, MI 49085). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (609 Court St, St Joseph, MI 49085).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, St. Joseph.
