With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Emmert Lentz of Saint Louis, Michigan, who passed away on June 24, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmert Dale and Carol Clara Lentz (Fox); his sister Dawn Denny; his brother-in-law Steve Althaus; and his nephew Ty Decker.
He is survived by: his wife Shelly; his daughter Michelle Emily (Craig); his grandson Wyatt Emily; his sister Diane Althaus; his brother-in-law Steve Matthews (Debbie); his nieces, Kara Wagoner (Jay) and Chelsea Fox; his nephew Wes Althaus; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Shawn Larry (Jeff), Aaron Gager (LaRae), Travis Gager (Laurie), Alan Decker (Stacey) and Matthew Decker. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Dan's final act of caring was to bless others through the act of donation through Gift of Life Michigan.
