She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph William and Viola Irene Fenton (Sowvel); her sister Virginia Davis; her granddaughter Debora Kretzschmar; her husbands, Frank Golden and Merle Sylvester Ennes; and her daughter-in-law Leona Golden.
She is survived by: her children, Joanne (Jerry Kretzschmar), Marilyn Hernandez of Ohio, Barbara (Barry Bunting-Scott), Linda Flanigan of Crystal, MI and Frank Golden of Sumner, MI; and her sister Norma Odem of Alma, MI.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Homes (117 N East St, St. Louis, MI 48880). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at the Oak Grove Cemetery (900 Hebron St, St. Louis, MI 48880).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
