He was predeceased by: his parents, Bo Chovanec and Lucille Chovanec (Tedhams). He is survived by: his wife Linda Stevens; his son Steven Chovanec; and his brother Dan Chovanec (Sherrie). He is also survived by other son and three grandsons.
