It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rose Marie Capen of Saint Louis, Michigan, who passed away on January 4, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Anthony and Aletha Margaret Dole (Berg); her husband Willis; and her brothers, Gerald Dole, Edward Dole, Steve Dole and Glenn Dole.
She is survived by: her children, Willis R. "Bob" Capen, Jr. of Grovertown, IN, Douglas (Sue Capen), Scott (Laura Capen), Paul (Sandy Capen) and Kelly (Darren Thompson); her siblings, Bruce Dole, Joanne Dana, Phillip Dole, Linda and Bob Crivac; and her sisters-in-law, Donna Dole and Gloria Dole. She is also survived by her grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Ithaca Senior Activity Building or Gratiot County Commission on Aging.
