He is survived by: his wife Darlene Trgina of St. Louis, MI; his son Ted (Kim Trgina); his stepson Jeff Herald of Florida; his grandchildren, Zach, Madison Trgina of St. Louis, MI, Kyle Trgina of Alma, MI, Matthew, Rebecca Courser of Detroit, MI, Tre'Hovey of Rosebush, MI, Courtney Monroe of Merrill, MI, Jesse Browne of Grand Rapids, MI, Ethan Herald of Ludington, MI and Riley Herald of Ludington, MI; his great grandchildren, Eleanor Trgina, Waylon Trgina, Paisley Browne and Elliah Courser; and his sister Joanne (Russ Jones).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Homes (117 N East St, St. Louis, MI 48880). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at the Oak Grove Cemetery (900 Hebron St, St. Louis, MI 48880).
