He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Harvey" Nichols and Neva Nichols (Brown); his grandson Dustin Cooper; and his siblings, Linda Jewell, Sandy Rowse, Brenda Daniels, William Nichols and Sharon Troyer.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Ann Troyer; and his children, Julie Cooper, Dave Hadley and Terry Nichols (Holly). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Louis Church of Christ (1075 W Monroe Rd, St. Louis, MI 48880).
