He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Smith Nacy Dabbs and Rebecca Lee Dabbs (DePriest); his wife Reba Dean Dabbs (McDonald); his son Derrick Dabbs (Noelle) of Ann Arbor; his grandchildren, Ryan Haar (Aaron), Tyler Pillen (Jennifer) and Lyla Dabbs; his great grandchildren, Nik, Jake and Emily; his sisters, Linda Cannady of Tennessee and Shearon Mitchell (Johnny) of Texas; and his daughter Amy Renee.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Saline.
