He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis E. Byrne and Florence L. Byrne (Kelly); his son Kenneth Byrne Jr.; and his brothers, Eugene Byrne and Walter Byrne.
He is survived by: his wife Jean; his daughters, Christina Byrne Hawkins and Paulette Byrne Goforth; his grandchildren, Anna Lindsey Goforth, Brian Todd Goforth and Jackson Kenneth Hawkins; and his siblings, Donna Byrne Frank, Paul Byrne, Mary Lou Byrne Knapik, Raymond Byrne and Gloria Byrne Hanlon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
