It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Hilda Scherdt (Saline, Michigan), who passed away on November 22, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold R. Socks and Hilda H. K. Socks (Wahl); her husband Elmer L. Scherdt; and her son Brian S. Scherdt. She is survived by: her sons, Lewis Scherdt (Teri), Jeff Scherdt and Scott Scherdt (Crestina-Perez); her daughter-in-law Mariann Scherdt; her grandchildren, Lewis, Jerod, Brian, Randy, Cindy, Patricia, Michael, Rikki and Kaytlynn; her sister Mary Ann Sweet; and her sister-in-law Mary Scherdt. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.
