He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Clare Denk Olson; his parents, Paul Louis Olson Sr. and Alice May Olson; and his son Alan. He is survived by: his children, Karl, Eric, Karen and Sandra; his daughters-in-law, Augusta and Rose; his grandchildren, Alice, Kory, Ellen, Matthew, Ronan, Trevor and Devon; and his grandson-in-law Sumang. He is also survived by seven stepchildren.
