He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Arsène "Harry" Payeur and Marie-Louise Bédard; his siblings, Richard (Twyla) and Rachel (James Kohler); and his brother-in-law Samuel Martino.
He is survived by: his wife Kay; his children, Susan Koehler (Larry), Linda Payeur and Mark Payeur; his grandchildren, Lauren Koehler, Michael Herrst (Allison), Danielle Herrst and Thomas Payeur; his great grandchild Davis Herrst; his sister Mary Louise Martino; and his nephew Daniel Payeur. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church (910 Austin Dr, Saline, MI 48176). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the St. Louis Center, Chelsea or St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic School, Saline, Michigan.
