She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Johns and Betty Johns (Selders); and her sister Janice Krouse. She is survived by: her husband Charles J. Hassenzahl; her children, Emily Baker (Brian), Lori Gonzalez (Mike), Penny Fisher (Rob) and David Hassenzahl; her grandchildren, Charles Winsler (Alecia), Kayla Bertalon (Jacob), Josh Hassenzahl (Chelsea), Mason Fisher (Kaylee), Paige and Haily Baker; her great grandchildren, Anthony, Carter, River, Waylon and Rhett; and her sister Brenda Brennan.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Sand Creek Community Church (6190 East St, Sand Creek, MI 49279). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
