We announce the death of Aaron E. Ashley of Sand Lake, Michigan, who passed away on July 6, 2026, at the age of 73. Aaron will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Ashley and Julia Ashley (Landry); his parents-in-law, Richard and Loretta Russell; and his brother-in-law John Noorman.
He is survived by: his wife Marcia Russell; his children, Holly Smith (Tyler) and Aaron Ashley (Amber); his grandchildren, Jessi, Ava, Olivia, Calvin, Abbey, Emersyn and Myah; and his siblings, Jesse Ashley (Connie), Darlene Noorman, Brenda Wood (Tracey), Denise Hammerstrom (Dan), Rick Russell (Amy), Tammy Miller (Rick), Tracey Mayeda (Bruce) and Kris Marble (Jerry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Aaron's name to Maranatha Baptist Church.
