It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice L. Sluijer of Sand Lake, Michigan, who passed away on September 12, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alice L. Sluijer to pay them a last tribute.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Alice shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Alice farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Reed and Ruth Reed (Plumb); her husband Loren Sluijer; and her son Ed. She is survived by: her children, Ruth Ann Evans and Arnold Sluijer (Char); and her sister-in-law Madelin Reed. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
