It is with sadness that the passing of James L. Wheeler of Sand Lake, Michigan is shared. James, born on April 30, 1931, passed away on September 24, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James L. Wheeler to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cloyd Wheeler and Sabra Wheeler (Archer); his son Thomas Wheeler; and his siblings, Betty Davis, Cloyd Wheeler (Junior), John Wheeler, Carol Seadorf, William Wheeler, Thomas Wheeler, Marge Wilson, Richard Wheeler, Patrick Wheeler and Shirley Finn.
He is survived by: his wife Caryln; his children, Karen West (Patrick) and William Wheeler (Karen); his stepdaughters, Tina Ramos and Brenda Hills; his grandchildren, Richard Cooper (Jaimie), Amber Burr (Ian), Christa Jones (Charles), Tamara Nichols (Timothy), Joshua West, Tyler Pickard (Kiana), Cherie Dobbs (Brandon), Andre Ramos, Evelyn Shaver, Sheila Wheeler, Sean Wheeler and Shana Spruit (Steve); and his siblings, Mary Radle, Margaret Holtzlander, Danny Wheeler and Ruth Baragar. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Grace Community Church (9920 Reed Rd, Howard City, MI 49329).
