With sadness, we share the passing of Jonathan Duane Steffy of Sand Lake, Michigan. Jonathan, born on August 12, 1947, passed away on October 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Jonathan for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Jonathan’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences he brought to the world.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Steffy and Evelyn Steffy (Tucker); and his brother Austin Steffy. He is survived by: his wife Emma F. Steffy; his children, Ray Steffy (Leigh) and Evelyn Steffy; his niece Nellie "PeeWee" McCaffrey (Steve); his great-nephews, Christian McCaffrey (Hanna) and Kyle McCaffrey; and his aunt Mary Walker. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews; two brothers, three sisters.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Crandall Cemetery (3102 22 Mile Rd NE, Sand Lake, MI 49343).
