He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Houthoofd and Velma Houthoofd (Gage); and his wife Brenda Houthoofd (Nimtz). He is survived by: his siblings, Eric Houthoofd (Shirley) and Elyn Gill (John); and his nieces and nephews, Joshua Houthoofd (Jessica), Ian Gill (Kayla), AnnaMae Mazunda (James) and Tamara Creager (Robert). He is also survived by 12 great nieces and nephews.
