He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Beatty and Geraldine Beatty (Hunt); and his brother Paul Beatty. He is survived by: his daughter Paula Valentik; his granddaughters, Samantha Valentik and Rebecca Valentik; and his siblings, Doug Beatty, John Beatty and Marilyn Solis.
