He was predeceased by : his parents, John Markey and Winifred Markey (Peno); and his sister Naomi Shaw. He is survived by : his wife Yolonda Marks; his sons, Dan (JoAnn), David, Doyle (Cathy) and Don; his close friend Rosie; his grandchildren, Jonathon (Bryanne), Jared (Amanda), Julie, Megan Rose (Nathan) and Michael; his great grandchildren, Isabella, Everleigh, Aidan and Ethan; and his daughter-in-law Nancy Markey.

Memorials in memory of Roger may be made to the Deckerville Bible Church.
