He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dietrich and Dorothy Dietrich (LaBuda); and his nephew Alec. He is survived by: his wife Judy Dietrich (Kumjian); his children, Annmarie, Matthew Hikade (Kelley), Andrew Hikade and Holly Pennoni (Patrick); his grandchildren, Sisilia, Levi J, Jack, Kayla, Molly, Abby, Cody, Jake, Chloe and Taylor; and his siblings, Michael Dietrich, Rodney Knapp, Denise Browning (Tim) and Melanie Dietrich. He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church - Sanford (2500 N W River Rd, Sanford, MI 48657). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church (2500 N W River Rd, Sanford, MI 48657).
