It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Intha M. Thornton of Sanford, Michigan, who passed away on September 23, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Intha M. Thornton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis W. and Mary T. Colbath; and her parents-in-law, Arlean and George Thornton. She is survived by: her husband Michael Thornton; her children, Christopher Thornton (Nicole), Shawna Hegland and Michelle Wilkerson (Wade); her grandchildren, Stephanie Rives (Josh), Justin Wilkerson, Bailey Smith, Jenna Wilkerson and Isabelle Wilkerson; and her great grandchildren, Mason, Addisyn, Aubrey, John and Scarlett.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wilson Miller Funeral Home (4210 N Saginaw Rd, Midland, MI 48640). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
