We are sad to announce that, on November 2, 2025, at the age of 95, Joy Esther Saylor of Sanford, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Smith and Midred Smith (Finch); and her siblings, Shirley White, James Smith, Earl Smith, Terry Smith and Leon Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Sidney Saylor, Jr., Gloria Fath (Norm), Tina Sherman, LaDonna Johnson (Bill), Cora Gates (Darrel), Sara Czerwinski (Frank), Joel Saylor (Melody) and Benjamin Saylor (Sally); and her brothers, Dennis Smith (Roxanne) and Bruce Smith (Valorie).
In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Children's Ministry Department at Open Door Baptist Church in her honor.
