He was predeceased by: his parents, Valentine Young and Barbara Young (Stuart). He is survived by: his wife Patty Young; his children, Adrienne Hatzenbeler (Christian) and Rob Young (Marcy); his grandchildren, Kylah, Pnut Piotrowski, Kason, Kellen Hatzenbeler, Lucas and Presley Young; his sisters, Gwendolyn Alim-Young (Robert) and Toni Young (Mary Olson); and his uncle Bill Davis (Pat). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Smith-Miner Funeral Home (2700 W Wackerly St, Midland, MI 48640). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Toni & Trish Hospice House in his honor.
