He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Dunton and Margaret Dunton (Alter); his former wife Mary Jean; and his wife Beryl. He is survived by: his sons, Richard Dunton (Elizabeth) of Cedar Springs and Randy Dunton of Casnovia; his stepchildren, Emmy Kinney (Chuck) of Barrington, Phil Vanderbilt (Marilou) and Veronica Jones (Herb) of Pierson; his brother Donald Dunton (Frieda) of Ohio; and his granddaughter Emily Behm (Ricky).
In Lieu of flowers, Memorial Donation may be made to the Education Fund of Michigan Draft Horse Breeders Association.
