With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven Alan Metternick of Saranac, Michigan, who passed away on May 12, 2026 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Steven shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Steven farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Eugene and Marilyn Kay Metternick (Rhoades); his daughter Krista Metternick; his father-in-law Jim Thompson; and his brother-in-law Michael Milligan.

He is survived by: his wife Kay M. Metternick of Saranac.
