It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Frances Washburn of Saranac, Michigan, who passed away on January 20, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sons, Donnie Lee and Steve Perry Washburn; and her siblings, Judith Stephen and Arnold Werstine. She is survived by: her daughter Caroline Werstine (Krause); her husband Don Washburn of Saranac; her daughter Kathy David (Tracy) of Joliet, Illinois.; her daughter-in-law Lori Washburn of Taylor, Michigan.; her grandchildren, Keri Winne (Jason) of Oak Park, Erin Antoine (Carson) of St. Charles, Steven Jacob O'Neil Washburn (Erika) of Byron and Sean David of Joliet, Illinois.; her great grandchildren, Augie Winne, Ethan Winne, Peyton Washburn and Waylon Washburn; and her sister Eileen Werstine of Redford Twp.
