Frank LaMantia Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank LaMantia (Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan), who passed away on May 11, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion LaMantia and Irene LaMantia (Caraccio); his sister Kathryn Snider; and his brothers-in-law, Gerald Snider, Donald Shuker and David Gebow.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Cornell Nelson; his children, Andrea LaMantia of Cathedral City, CA, Anthony LaMantia of Plymouth, MI, Michael Nelson of Springfield, MO and Suzanne Gamelin (John) of Sault Ste; his grandchildren, Ashley, Natasha, Chase and Tori; his great grandchildren, Robert, Connor, Blake and Bailey; and his sisters, Marian Shuker and Sandra Gebow.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank's name may be left to the Hospice of the EUP or MyMichigan Foundation in designation of the Sault Cancer Center.
