He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Payment and Betty Payment (Bottrell); and his sisters, Cindy Payment and Franny Prater. He is survived by: his children, Jeremy Paradowski (Laura) of Indiana, Sarah Whelpley (Daniel) of Michigan, Roy McClard (Avery Mitchell) of Michigan, Lisa Payment of Michigan, Mikey Payment of Michigan and Zach Payment (Maryssa Kronemeyer) of Michigan; his grandchildren, Joey, Mike Riethmeier, Brayden Morgan and Christian Nolan; and his siblings, Jack Payment, Carol Starnes, JoAnn Mason, Leo Payment and Pat Latour (Gene).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to help with funeral expenses.
