He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Roos and June Roos (Gardner). He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Roos; his children, Josephine Anne Roos (Christopher Forrest) of Sault Ste, Duncan Robert Roos of Sault Ste and Aelinor June Roos of Sault Ste; and his brother Blaine Smith (Evelyn) of Alabama.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to either My Michigan Medical Center Sault Long Term Care or American Cancer Society.
