He was predeceased by: his parents, Kattar Baz and Wasilla Baz (Tajildeen); and his siblings, Fawzi, Zakia, Hadia, Latifie and Najla.
He is survived by: his wife Amal Baz; his children, Rwaida Baz Bates (Roy), Rania Baz McCallum (Johnny), Rima Baz-Tarabieh (Wissam) and Kattar Riad Baz; his grandchildren, Jasmine Aljerdi (Salman), Robbie Eldoueik, Ryan Eldoueik, Lee Bates, Aaliyah McCallum, Rami Bates, Daniel Tarabieh and Adam Aljerdi; and his sister Nadia Baz. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
