Age 86, of Schoolcraft, passed away at Centrica Rose Arbor Place on September 9, 2025, surrounded by family. He was born in Detroit, MI, on September 21, 1938, the son of the late William and Stephanie (Adamczyk) Sajdak. Frank grew up on the east side of Michigan and graduated from Redford High School, Class of 1957. Growing up in Detroit and near "The Big House" Frank became a fan of the Lions, Tigers, Red Wings and UofM football. In his youth he enjoyed playing softball, hockey, table tennis and bowling. Sports would remain a passion of Frank's for life. Shortly after school, he began working for AT&T and retired after several years of service. On October 16, 1965, he married the love of his life, Carolyn (Cook) Sajdak and began a family. They would eventually settle in Southwest Michigan. Carolyn was a loving and faithful wife who cared for Frank until the end. Together they enjoyed raising their children, being involved grandparents and whenever possible spending a quiet day at home together. To leave behind the hustle and bustle of daily life, Frank and Carolyn enjoyed camping up north; a passion they shared with their children and grandchildren. Frank's smile, gentle nature and kindness will be missed by all who loved him and he leaves behind the legacy of a life well lived. He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Sajdak; children, Kevin (Jennifer) Sajdak, Kelly (John) Bartelt; grandchildren, Samantha, Cassidy and Jack Bartelt; sister, Barbara (Joe) Gennari; extended family and friends.
