Age 72, passed away early Wednesday morning, January 24, 2024. Susan was born in Kalamazoo on December 22, 1951, the daughter of Donald and Alice (Gragg) Smith. Susan was a life-long fan of the Beatles. She was an amateur artist and was an avid gardener. Everything she did, she gave it her all. Susan is survived by her children, Travis (Wendee) Mayes of Kalamazoo and Kimberly (Luke) Barrett of Kalamazoo; grandchildren, Hayley, Asher, Gwenyth and Sabrina; step-grandchildren, Zachary and Aaron; step-great-granddchildren, Jonah and Brody; brother, Benjamin (Rudi) Smith; nieces and nephews and many friends. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Alice Terry; and brother, Kenneth Smith.
