In loving memory of Lubbert J. Van Dellen of Scotts, Michigan, who departed this world on May 31, 2025 at the age of 79. Lubbert leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Lubbert W. Dellen and Evelyn Van Dellen (Hendriksen); his wife Jayne; and his daughters, Jennifer and Eva Van Dellen.

He is survived by: his children, Keren Kelley (Anthony), Melissa Telling (Abraham), Timothy Van Dellen (Molly) and Thomas Van Dellen (Caroline); his grandchildren, Lance, Lornelia, Daniel, Nicolas, Jason, Ciara, Benjamin, William, Tori, Anthony Jr., Jedidiah, Cornelius, Katherine, Reuben, Ethan, Emma, Megan, Corban, Teresa, Asher, Siler, Natalynn, Katelee, Thomas, Casey and Elsie; and his siblings, David Van Dellen (Sharolin) and Geneva Castleburg. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory of Bert may be made to Country Christian EFC Building Fund.

“So sorry for your loss. Bert was a very giving man. We’ll always remember him hosting our youth group from Covenant URC at his house. He made a great bonfire and insisted on doing all the food himself. We ended with him playing his piano and us singing the ‘same’ hymn from his collection many of hymnbooks. Tim and Kathy”
