He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Ralph and Eva Jane Hayes (Taggatz); and his brother-in-law Gary Rubingh. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Rohde (Luettjohann); his daughters, Jennifer Hayes of Royal Oak, MI, Melissa Hayes of Mt. Pleasant, MI and Katie Hayes of Clawson, MI; his stepsons, Justin and Josh Rohde; and his siblings, Gary Hayes (Ann) of Mt. Pleasant, MI, David Hayes (Lenore) of Rock, MI, Diane Armour (Tom) of Shepherd, MI, Cindy Rubingh of Mt. Pleasant, MI and Shari Goodrich (Gary) of Pardeeville, WI. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
