He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon McNeilly and Kay McNeilly (Jones); his niece Elyse; and his great-niece Shae. He is survived by: his sons, Jeremiah McNeilly (Rebecca Szpiech), Brian McNeilly and Justin McNeilly; his grandchildren, Ashlynn, Mayson, Kendall, Livia and Crosley; his girlfriend Ellen McCauley; and his siblings, Debbie Campbell (Jim), Melody Kesler (Dale), Rose Simon (Mike), Jeff McNeilly (Patti), Lorrie McNeilly and Trudy Vogel (Terry). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

As he grew older Kevin sponsored several charity and community events through donations.
