She was predeceased by: her parents, David Vollmer and Mary Vollmer (Wolfram); her husband Leon C. Gruehn; her son Mark Gruehn; her siblings, John (Gloria), Art (Vernita), Frank (Phyllis), Dave Vollmer (Audrey), Helen Nimtz (Wilmer), Ray Carl, Alfred Vollmer, Mary Hinton and Margaret Schmidt; and her parents-in-law, Henry and Alberta Gruehn.
She is survived by: her children, JoAnne Rasmussen (Doug) of Reese, Sand Point, Patrick Gruehn (Amy) of Owendale, Gerry Vermeersch (Roger) of Unionville, Lynn Valentine (Jeffrey) of Sebewaing and Carol VanHoost (Michael) of Unionville; her daughter-in-law Terry Gruehn of Sebewaing; and her grandchildren, Kelsey Rasmussen-Bell, Andrew Rasmussen (Chandra), Nathan Gruehn (Kamryn), Dustin Gruehn (Brooke), Jordon Gruehn (Lauren), Craig Vermeersch (Angie), Troy Vermeersch (Tara), Brandon Vermeersch (Jenni), Amanda Stockmeyer (Lucas), Shaun Gruehn (Jenny), Steve Gruehn (Allison), Brad Gruehn (Tiffany), Brittany Brow (Caleb), Tyson Valentine (Carley), Cami McNeil (Garrett), Calie Montgomery (Mac), Lance VanHoost (Mackenzie) and Ashlyn Dhyse (Erik). She is also survived by 46 great grandchildren.
