It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Ruth Engelhardt (Sebewaing, Michigan), who passed away on October 19, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Hornbacher and Ruth Hornbacher (Nitz); her husband Orin Engelhardt; and her great-nephew Dawson Kuhl. She is survived by: her children, Larry Engelhardt (Eva), Kristine Marker (Rob) and Susan Irion (Lonnie); her grandchildren, Samantha Peaphon (Matt), Jacob Engelhardt (Yusu), Alex Engelhardt, Aaron Marker, Eric Marker (Kathryn), Amy Marker, Emma Irion and Leah Irion; her great grandchildren, Ava, Logan and Theodora; her sister Mary Ann LaCourse-Gorgol; her niece Anissa Kuhl; and her great-nephew Treston Kuhl. She is also survived by her family and friends, cousins, nephews, nieces.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. John Lutheran Church (9476 Kilmanagh Rd, Sebewaing, MI 48759). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (9476 Kilmanagh Rd, Sebewaing, MI 48759).
