He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Shepler and Bernice Shepler; his wife Mary Shepler; and his sister-in-law Karen Shepler. He is survived by: his daughter Morgan; and his siblings, Rick Shepler (Christine), Rob Shepler and Karen Gatewood (Steve). He is also survived by many extended family members, dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Al's honor to Misfit Angels Rescue (https://www.misfitangelsrescue.org), an organization dedicated to rescuing and caring for animals, a cause that reflected his lifelong love of animals and nature.
