She was predeceased by: her husband Edmund; and her brother John Szatkowski. She is survived by: her children, Edmund Jr. (Carol), Jill (late Jerry Sikorski), Judy, Jeffrey, Kimberly Chieppa (Nick), John (Kristen) and Patrick (Lisa); and her siblings, Janet Dinsmoore and Michael Szatkowski. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers Barbara's family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer's Association, specifically for Primary Progressive Aphasia, (PPA), research.
