David Phillip Unger Obituary

We bid farewell to David Phillip Unger of Shelby Township, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 24, 2026 at the age of 80. David touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his daughter Janice Unger; his parents, Russell Unger and Theresa Unger; and his brothers, Thomas Unger (Cora Jean) and John Unger.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Unger; his daughters, Wendy Baker (Steve) and Tracy Unger; his granddaughter Zoe Gahm; and his sister-in-law Ethlyn Unger. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
